Darn. Had a not so good day at school yesterday. Let me tell you why.
First we had CME, which was okay. But i was paranoid about mdm loo asking me to translate one of her transparencies. If you don't already know, my chinese is quite...poor. I don't understand why we must have CME in chinese. Firstly, the cme books are in english. Secondly, even the TRANSPARENCIES are in english. so WHY must it be in chinese? Actually i know the answer. cos my sch is so cheeeeeena. Aherm.
Then we had maths, which was quite slacky until Mr Helmi announced that there would be homework for the weekend (which i have yet to do) and so i have bio, maths, chinese, bsp. i think and hope thats all. and oh chem and lang arts spring tests. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Then we had PE, which i was dreading. First, we ran two rounds around the field, and then when we were done and catching our breath, I coughed. and Mr Siva thought it was extremely sinful to cough after running two rounds, and he said "Why are you coughing already?" Well, I'm sorry for having a cough. Then we had to do the warm up exercises, and then followed by the dreadful pull ups which i can't do. I know i can't do them. And i escaped doing them because there are 9 guys and then i basically made myself invisible and let the remaining 8 pair up. so they took turns doing and i just stood at one corner hoping that it would never get to me. and it worked. I wouldn't have been able to do it anyway. Im SURE.
Then frisbee. Which is a stupid game. The wind will carry the frisbee far away. and then you don't know how to catch it. and then it falls on the grass and somebody from the other team will have to pick it up. Then that somebody will throw it, and then it will fall onto the grass again, then somebody from the OTHER team will pick it up. it's a vicious cycle. Yes, i was listening in geog.
So then came recess, which was blah. Helped out at the tsunami booth. And then the next two periods were CHEM PRAC which i had been dreading as well. Ms Tan will bite your head off if you are late, and Ms Tan is like a concentrated version of limps (adapted from linette). So youbao, linette and I were early and waiting for the bell to ring. and when it did, what was supposed to be 36 students waiting outside the chem lab was actually 3. Interesting. So anyway we went into the lab and we were about to head for our seats when Ms tan barked " DON'T GO TO YOUR SEATS REMAIN AT THE FRONT!" So we scurried to the front and stood there looking at her. And then the worksheets were being passed around and it just didnt pass fast enough so some of us were still looking at ms tan. So she barked again " DON'T STAND THERE LOOKING AT ME. LOOK AT YOUR WORKSHEETS". I almost puked and died. So anyway she blabbered on and on about how our answers are supposed to be like and everything so we headed to our seats and began work. I began work slowly which was a big mistake because I had to rush like mad after that. And in the process of rushing, I spilt a chemical onto my hand and it must have slipped into my fingernails (only the third and fourth finger on my left hand, thank goodness) and so after I finished all the experiments (which was accompanied by Ms tan's occasional screaming that there should be no talking) I noticed that my fingernails had become a horrible BROWN. well it was brown-bordered. horrible. And it hasnt come out since. YUCKS. So that is why i am now afraid of chem practical.
After that, we had SE and it was quite okay. The sec ones were having auditions and they had to sing or clap a short passage. and so the short phrases from dvorak and hoe-down and arensky came popping up. And ms ku declared that we were kinda screwed because this year's intake is... not so impressive. Last year we had joel yee and zara. so its kinda a deprovement.
So we had full ensem and ms ku slashed hoe-down. It sounds quite patchy but it'll need getting used to.
My neighbour's dog, Russell is making noise with his squeaky ball. Poor Happy. (their other dog)
